Audience members will learn about preservation challenges for these formats, and new methods for recovering audio from them. Presenters will discuss the role of experimentation and collaboration in standards-driven preservation work, increased accessibility to audio of underrepresented communities, the pros/cons to optical-scanning, and where future development should be aimed.
