Lindsay Hiltunen, MLIS and MA, is the University Archivist at the Michigan Technological University Archives and a PhD student in the Rhetoric, Theory and Culture program at the university. She is the current Chair of the Oral History Steering Section of SAA and was recently appointed as the incoming Vice President/President-Elect of the Michigan Archival Association. She is also a board member for the Michigan Oral History Assoc., the Michigan State Historical Records Advisory Board, the Historical Society of Michigan, and the Quincy Mine Hoist Assoc. An avid hockey fan and public historian, she also serves as a resident oral historian on the Oral History Committee of the Society for International Hockey Research. She resides in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula and spends most of her free time in the great north woods or by the shores of Lake Superior with her weimaraners, cocker spaniel, and spouse Thomas.
