Samantha Aamot
Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies Archival Collections Assistant/Graduate Student
Raleigh, North Carolina
I am a current Master's candidate pursuing a dual degree in Public History at North Carolina State University and Information & Library Science at UNC Chapel Hill. At the Khayrallah Center, an archive dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Lebanese immigrants and their families in the United States and across the diaspora, I work as an archival collections assistant and project developer. My interests include decolonization theory and decolonizing archival collections, practices, and spaces, community driven or grassroots archival approaches, and accessibility in the digital humanities. Ask me about the
Khayrallah Center and our
current projects!
